Ritz-Carlton Residences Sarasota Fuses Luxury Home Living With Hotel Amenities

Luxury hotel brand The Ritz-Carlton is embarking on a new resident development that will be located in Sarasota, Fla. The residency tower will stretch 18-stories high and boast sweeping  views of the Sarasota Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.

Ritz-Carlton Residences Sarasota will be one of more than 44 residences around the world owned by the luxury hotel brand, says Robert Julien, president and CEO of developer company Kolter Group. The tower was designed by award-winning SB Architects, and it features interior design by Hirsch Bedner Associates of Atlanta and Palm Beach interior designer Bob Martin. The floor plan options span from 3,200-square-feet to over 6,100-square-feet with prices ranging from $2.4 million - $8 million.

Julien adds that residents will have access to an array of luxury lifestyle amenities onsite, such as two pools—a “resort-style pool” along with a lap and fitness pool—a waterfront amenity plaza that boasts a new restaurant, a fitness center, a clubroom and multiple spaces designed for social events. In addition, residents will also have “private elevator access that provides direct access to the waterfront,” he says. The amenities also extend to the pets: The luxury home development will also feature a private dog park.

Beyond the features available onsite at the residences, tenants will also have access to amenities available throughout the Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota resort. “All residents receive an exclusive membership—which includes access to vibrant waterfront dining and five-star accommodations, including the long-renowned Jack Dusty restaurant, a full-service spa and salon, The Beach Club on Lido Key, and a Tom Fazio-designed championship golf course,” Julien adds.

According to Julien, Sarasota, Fla. is a destination “on the rise” and boasts a “booming downtown arts and cultural scene.” He adds that the waterfront area at the Quay Sarasota is both ideal for residents and visitors. Stefano Falbo of SB Architects notes that the design of Ritz-Carlton Residences Sarasota was inspired by its local surroundings.

"With each new destination that we are privileged to be a part of, we look for opportunities to embrace the surroundings and connect the built environment with the locale to create a tailored experience for guests and residents,” Falbo says. “The Ritz-Carlton Sarasota is an epitome of contemporary architectural design, embodying this unique waterfront setting by seamlessly blending clean, white-washed volumes with transparent glass planes to both absorb and reflect the natural sunlight and serene aquamarine seascape."

Although the project isn’t slated to open until the fourth quarter of 2020, it already broke $100 million in sales.

“There is no other project like this on the west coast of Florida,” Julien says. “The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Sarasota is a game changer for the area. It’s amenities and pristine location are ideal.”
